Kivano Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kivano handles information when you use the app.

Information You Create

You may enter facts, feeling and need tags, choices, next steps, follow-up dates, and other short reflection text. You may also create saved Reflection Maps and Reflection Reviews from that information.

On-Device Storage and Processing

Reflection entries, drafts, maps, reviews, coin balance, and local preferences are stored and processed on your device. Kivano does not send reflection text to an artificial intelligence or automated advice provider. The app does not provide chat responses, diagnosis, or treatment.

App Store Purchases

If you purchase coins, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. The app receives transaction status and product information needed to verify the purchase, grant the configured coins, prevent duplicate grants, and maintain your local balance.

Legal Pages and Network Access

The app connects to configured HTTPS addresses when you open the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy. Reflection and timeline features are designed to work without sending your journal content over the network.

Analytics and Tracking

After you agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy, the app may use Adjust to measure registration, login, purchase starts, verified purchases, product interactions, crashes, and performance. Adjust is configured without IDFA or IDFV access and without an ATT prompt. Attribution uses Apple's aggregated SKAdNetwork system; the app does not use this data for cross-app tracking or link it to your reflection text or identity.

Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete individual content, use Delete Account in the app, or remove the app. Delete Account clears the local agreement state, session, entries, drafts, reviews, coin data, and processed transaction ledger applicable to the local profile.

Your Choices

Log Out clears the local session but keeps your agreement and saved content. Delete Account removes applicable local user data and returns the app to its first-use state.

Children's Privacy

Kivano is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information in connection with the app, contact us so the request can be reviewed.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the local nature of the app. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
